Our story
Why we make noise.
Families of children with SEND repeatedly tell us the same thing: inclusive, affordable activities are hard to find, and too many young people miss out on experiences their peers take for granted. Parents and carers can feel isolated, and young adults approaching adulthood often face a sharp drop in support.
Let’s Make Noise was founded to change that. We deliver free, accessible programmes that promote participation, communication and independence, and we use our voice to raise awareness of SEND across the wider community.
We welcome children and young people with a wide range of needs, including autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, learning disabilities, physical disabilities and speech, language and communication needs, together with their parents, carers and siblings.

We achieve this by delivering free, inclusive and person-centred programmes that develop communication, life skills and independence; by creating opportunities for social inclusion and friendship; and by bringing families together into a supportive, connected community.

We remove practical, financial and social barriers so young people can join in at their own pace and in their own way, and we involve them and their families in shaping our work.
Empowerment
We focus on strengths, not limitations. By building communication, confidence and life skills, we help young people make choices and move towards independence.

We bring children, families, volunteers and local partners together, fostering friendship, peer support and a stronger, more cohesive community.

We are transparent and accountable in how we use our funds, and we place safeguarding, wellbeing and dignity at the centre of all our work.
