WEBSITE & PARTICIPATION INFORMATION

Terms and Conditions

Information about using the Let’s Make Noise website, making enquiries and supporting our work.

Draft prepared: 24 October 2026

Review draft — not ready for publication

This draft reflects the charity and website details supplied. Complete and remove the marked review points before publication, with particular attention to activity arrangements, cancellations, donations and complaints.

It preserves legal rights and avoids inventing fees, supervision rules, refund restrictions or liability exclusions.

1. About Let’s Make Noise

This website is provided for LET’S MAKE NOISE, charity number 1212537.

Our office address is Office 705, Avicenna House, 258–262 Romford Road, London E7 9HZ.
Email: info@letsmakenoise.org
Phone: 020 8058 9885

In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Let’s Make Noise. “You” refers to a person using the website or contacting us through it.

2. What these terms cover

These terms explain the proposed conditions for using our website and making enquiries about our work, activities, volunteering, fundraising and donations.

They do not replace any specific participation information or agreement provided for an activity, outing, volunteering role, partnership or fundraising arrangement. Any additional terms should be made available before you commit to the relevant arrangement.

Nothing in these terms removes rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

3. Using our website responsibly

You may use the website to learn about the charity, enquire about activities and explore ways to support our work. Please use it lawfully and respectfully.

You must not deliberately introduce harmful software, attempt unauthorised access, disrupt the website, impersonate another person or submit abusive, fraudulent or unlawful material.

Please provide accurate information relevant to your enquiry. Do not send payment-card details or confidential medical information through a general enquiry form.

4. Website information and availability

Our website provides general information about the charity and its programme. Activity dates, venues, availability and arrangements should be confirmed directly with us before you attend or make travel arrangements.

We aim to keep information clear and accurate. If you find an error or an inaccessible feature, please contact us so it can be considered for correction. The website may sometimes be unavailable because of maintenance or technical problems.

General website information is not a personal clinical assessment or an individual treatment recommendation. Please contact us about the scope and arrangements of any speech and language therapy provision.

5. Activities, enquiries and taking part

Let’s Make Noise provides free, inclusive activities for children and young people with SEND. The programme includes speech and language therapy, life skills, cooking, work experience, sports and a fun day out twice a year.

Sending an enquiry does not by itself confirm a place or acceptance onto a particular activity. Please obtain confirmation of availability and relevant arrangements from the charity.

Before participation, discuss any relevant accessibility or support requirements. Information about suitability, consent, supervision, venues and practical arrangements should be provided for the activity concerned.

Parents, carers and representatives should have appropriate authority to provide information or make arrangements for someone else. Nothing in these terms transfers the charity’s safeguarding or other legal responsibilities to a participant or their family.

Confirm before publication: approve the actual eligibility, registration, supervision and safeguarding arrangements, and identify any separate activity terms. Do not introduce an age restriction, accompaniment requirement or exclusion policy without confirming it.

6. Changes, cancellations and concerns about an activity

If you can no longer attend, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible. If an activity needs to change or be cancelled, arrangements should be explained to affected participants using the contact details provided.

Questions about an activity, access needs or a concern should be raised directly with the charity. Any specific cancellation, alternative-date or expense arrangements must be explained before participation where relevant.

Confirm before publication: insert the charity’s approved cancellation and communication arrangements. This draft does not impose cancellation charges or exclude any legal entitlement to a remedy.

7. Volunteering, fundraising and partnerships

Contacting us about volunteering or a partnership starts a discussion; it does not automatically create an appointment, employment relationship, partnership or authority to act on behalf of the charity.

Any role, responsibilities, checks and practical arrangements should be agreed before you begin. Please obtain our agreement before presenting yourself as an authorised representative or using the charity’s name or logo in a way that suggests an approved campaign.

If you wish to fundraise, discuss your plans with us before launching an event or appeal in our name. The use of funds and any appeal-specific arrangements should be clear to donors.

8. Donations

If you wish to donate, please contact us or use a payment route expressly provided by the charity. Confirm the intended recipient and donation arrangements before sending money. These terms do not create a payment facility or authorise a recurring payment.

Where a gift is accepted for a particular restricted purpose, the charity must respect the applicable restriction. Any specific appeal should explain relevant arrangements for a shortfall, surplus or inability to carry out the stated purpose.

If you believe a donation was made in error, was duplicated or was unauthorised, contact us promptly with enough information to identify the transaction. Do not email full payment-card details.

Requests to return a donation must be considered under the applicable law, the circumstances and the charity’s approved policy. Any valid legal right to a refund will be respected. We do not state that all donations are automatically non-refundable.

Confirm before publication: identify the payment providers and approved donation acceptance, refund and recurring-giving arrangements. Add appeal-specific information where needed. Do not advertise Gift Aid processing until the charity’s arrangements are confirmed.

9. Content, photographs and the charity’s identity

Website text, photographs, graphics and logos may be protected by intellectual property rights belonging to the charity or their respective rights holders.

You may view the website and share links to it. Where the law permits, you may save or print material for your own personal, non-commercial reference, retaining any relevant attribution.

Please seek permission before reusing our logo, reproducing material for a campaign or implying that the charity endorses a person, organisation or product. Any permission remains subject to the rights of third parties and applicable legal exceptions.

Sending an enquiry does not give the charity unrestricted permission to publish your message, photograph or personal story.

11. Responsibility and your legal rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Nothing removes applicable consumer rights, data protection rights or the charity’s safeguarding duties. These terms do not require you to waive a claim simply because you use the website or participate in an activity.

Responsibility for a particular loss or issue depends on the applicable law and the circumstances. This draft does not introduce a blanket exclusion of liability or an arbitrary financial liability cap.

12. Questions and complaints

To raise a question or complaint, email info@letsmakenoise.org, call 020 8058 9885 or write to our office address. Explain what happened and the outcome you are seeking, while avoiding unnecessary sensitive information in the initial message.

Confirm before publication: add the charity’s approved complaints process, response expectations and escalation routes. Do not claim membership of a regulator or an alternative dispute resolution scheme without verification.

Using the charity’s complaints process does not remove any right to raise a concern with a relevant authority or seek a legal remedy.

13. Changes to these terms and applicable law

We may update these terms when our website or arrangements change. The date at the top identifies this version. Changes are intended to apply prospectively and do not automatically alter an existing agreement or remove accrued rights.

These terms are proposed to be governed by the law of England and Wales. Any jurisdiction provision must preserve mandatory rights that apply to consumers, including rights to bring proceedings in another court where the law permits.

Confirm before publication: have the governing-law wording and these terms reviewed against the charity’s actual activities and participant arrangements.
