How we help
Support that opens doors.
Every child and young person with SEND is unique. Our programmes combine specialist support, inclusive activities and community connection to develop communication, confidence and independence, while ensuring families feel informed, supported and never alone.
Communication
Speech and language therapy
Communication underpins learning, friendship and wellbeing. Our programme provides face-to-face, one-to-one therapy for children and adults with speech, language and communication needs (SLCN).
Each programme is tailored to the individual, with clear goals and practical strategies that families can continue at home. Sessions use play, visual resources and everyday activities to make progress meaningful and enjoyable.
- Personalised, one-to-one therapy
- Support for both children and adults
- Language, speech sounds and social communication
Shared experiences
Kids fun days out
Twice a year we organise free, fully supported days out for children and young people with SEND and their families, to destinations such as theme parks and immersive attractions.
These days promote social inclusion, friendship and shared experiences, and give parents and carers a valuable opportunity to connect, exchange advice and build lasting peer-support networks.
- Free of charge for the whole family
- Accessible, SEND-friendly venues
- Sensory-aware planning, from ear defenders to quiet spaces
- Dedicated staff and volunteers throughout the day
Preparing for adulthood
Life Skills Initiative
The transition to adulthood is a critical stage for young people with SEND. Our Life Skills Initiative is a practical preparation-for-adulthood programme that builds the independence, employability and confidence young people need for the next chapter of their lives.
- Cooking classes
- Supported work experience with local employers
- Money management and budgeting
- Social skills and community confidence
Inclusive sport
Let’s Make Noise Cup
Our annual football tournament for boys and girls harnesses the power of sport to raise awareness of SEND, challenge stigma and bring the whole community together in a celebration of inclusion.
Connection
Community and family support
Raising a child with SEND can feel isolating. We provide a welcoming community where parents and carers can share experiences, access information and signposting, and support one another.
By helping families understand the opportunities available, we make it easier for children and young people to take their next step towards participation.
